Awards and Honors

2004 - An Outcome registry receives the 2004 Innovation Award from the Department of Health and Human Services.

2005 – Health and Human Services Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) selects Outcome as one of the 13 research (DEcIDE) centers to conduct accelerated practical studies about the outcomes, comparative clinical effectiveness, safety, and appropriateness of health care items and services.

2006/2007 – Outcome leads the development of the AHRQ reference handbook, "Registries for Evaluating Patient Outcomes: A User's Guide." The purpose of the handbook, released in May, 2007, is to serve as a reference for the design, use, and evaluation of patient registries.
