Electronic Prescribing (eRx) Incentive ProgramEarn a 1% Incentive Payment Outcome offers practices the opportunity to participate in the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Electronic Prescribing (eRx) Incentive Program and qualify for the 1% eRx incentive payment, while avoiding the 1% eRx payment adjustment penalty. A successful electronic prescriber for the 2012 eRx Incentive Program must report the eRx measure for at least 25 unique electronic prescribing events in which the measure is reportable during 2012. Providers can choose to participate in the program only or participate through the Outcome PQRS Registry. Outcome transmits the data to CMS on behalf of the providers. |
