The Outcome System® is a unique technology created specifically for collecting and evaluating real-world outcomes. Our technology focuses on features that bring value back to the sponsors and the sites. Our system offers sites real-time access to data and reports, patient education, and treatment guidelines or recommendations. To the sponsor, we provide real-time metrics and access to the data as well as unique, real-time analytic tools. All of these metrics and tools are developed specifically for and integrated into the study.

Our patent* and patent-pending technology provide flexibility in data capture with a system that integrates web, telephone, offline, fax, and existing office systems. Quintiles Outcome uses a centralized, real-time database for study data capture, enabling sponsors and advisors to monitor the progress of the registry or study, to review key project and safety metrics, and even to see changes in the regional therapeutic area market in real time throughout the study.

The flexibility of our system also allows for the easy implementation and maintenance of hybrid studies or registries where the method of data collection varies by site. If one site chooses to use the web-based interface and another chooses to use paper forms because it does not have access to the Internet, all the information is entered into the same central database; the web-based data is entered automatically, and the paper-based data is entered by Quintiles Outcome’s Data Entry Personnel.

Our system also allows for integration with external databases and systems, such as incorporating retrospective data into the registry and “pre-loading” data via uploads to reduce site data entry.
